Forgetting You by Jen Fujimori

Technically, the movie Manos: The Hands of Fate is a severely flawed film. It was shot poorly, directed poorly, dubbed poorly and edited poorly. I don't think anyone will argue with that.

One thing that was done right is the closing song, called, Forgetting You, a hauntingly beautiful jazz piece written by Russ Huddleston & Robert Smith, Jr. The original female singer with the silky voice, remains a mystery.

However, Jennifer Fujimori has recorded a cover version of the song and the result is quite enjoyable. Helping out on piano, guitar, drums and bass is Cory Fujimori who is also the engineer.

Compare Jennifer's version to the original one.

  1. Update: After years of mystery, Jackey Raye Neyman-Jones (Debbie in
"Manos: The Hands of Fate") has found the singer of "Forgetting You"
from the Manos soundtrack. Her name is Nicki Mathis and she is a
    longtime jazz singer. https://www.facebook.com/Debbiesmanos/posts/852929128134732
